Pedestal

Physical MovesArcs, orbits, rolls and full-body camera motion.

The camera physically rises or lowers straight along its vertical axis without tilting or rotating — the framing angle stays constant while the camera's height changes. Distinct from a tilt because the whole rig moves rather than the lens rotating. Steady speed throughout.

When to use it: Pedestal up when rising with a subject standing up, or gaining a literal higher vantage point without changing what direction the lens is pointed. Pedestal down when lowering to a subject sitting or crouching, or settling a shot down to a grounded, intimate height.

Prompt

Camera: smooth pedestal up (or down) — camera physically rises/lowers vertically at constant speed, no tilt, no pan, framing angle stays constant, no zoom.
