Whip Pan
Pan & Tilt — The camera rotates in place — left/right or up/down.
The camera snaps horizontally at high speed in either direction, blurring the middle of the frame into motion streaks, then stops abruptly on a new subject. The blur is total for a few frames — the image is unreadable mid-move. Lands hard and holds, no settle-in.
When to use it: A hard energy transition between two subjects or locations, often cut on the blur to jump scenes — high-tempo, comedic, or action beats. Pick the direction that matches where the new subject enters frame.
Prompt
Camera: whip pan left (or right) — extremely fast horizontal sweep with heavy motion blur through the middle of the move, then a hard stop with no settle, camera position fixed.
Model notes
- Seedance 2.0
- State the stop explicitly ("hard stop, no drift") or the model tends to add a soft ease-out that kills the whip feel.
