Dolly
Dolly & Track — The whole camera travels — in, out, sideways, or around.
The camera physically moves forward or backward relative to the subject at a steady speed, on a fixed heading with no pan or tilt. Because it's true camera movement (not a zoom), perspective and background compression shift naturally as it travels.
When to use it: Dolly in to draw the viewer physically into a scene — a more natural, immersive push-in than a zoom, good for emotional close-ups. Dolly out to retreat from a subject and reveal scale or isolation, or to gracefully end a scene by pulling back into the wider world.
Prompt
